DIRECT PLACEMENT for an IMMEDIATE full time salaried HR Administrator-responsible for providing administrative support to all aspects of Human Resources. Duties will include:
Prepare company correspondence, reports, and other administrative tasks as needed
Maintaining confidentiality of all information.
Maintain and update all corporate job descriptions and organizational charts, tracking performance appraisals and acting as liaison with legal resources to ensure company compliance with laws and regulations
Maintain accurate and up to date employee information in HR system and employee files
Create and produce required daily, weekly, and monthly reports in a timely manner
Responsible for the recruitment process (posting, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding)
Keep accurate records of insurance coverage, 401k transactions and other personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations and employee terminations.
Investigate and prepare necessary reports to file with workers compensation. Follow up on each claim
Conduct a wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wages
Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, conduct exit interviews
Track unemployment claims and process accordingly
Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
❖ An Associate’s degree, one to two years’ experience in the HR field, or any similar combination of education and experience
❖ Working knowledge of Human Resource practices ❖ Knowledge of worker’s compensation, unemployment, OSHA and disability
❖ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
❖ Must be highly organized and able to work independently within rigid time constraints
❖ Must be willing to be flexible with hours as needed
❖ Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality, consistency and professionalism at all times
❖ Teamwork Skills- coordination, communication and customer service skills
