Ideal person will have a background in recruiting, preferably in the cable/broadband industry, recruiting candidates to fill existing and future job openings within the organization.
Functions include but not limited to:
Responsible for recruiting efforts to include all aspects of the hiring process: advertising for multiple positions in several states at the same time, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews and completing EEO paperwork.
Develops a strong network of talent through various methods including: sourcing through web, internet, university visits, and network contacts within the larger community.
Establishes and maintains relationships with managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring.
Sources active candidates from various resources including: online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals.
Assists in the scheduling and preparation of candidate interviews.
Participates in 5 – 7 job fairs and other offsite recruiting events per year.
Follow up with management on progress of filling openings and determining if other recruiting venues are needed.
Maintains necessary documentation for EEO compliance per cable regulations.
Ensures adherence with all federal and state employment laws.
Assist with maintenance and updating of job descriptions.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
High school diploma.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a highly multi-tasking environment.
1-year prior recruiting experience is required.
Ability to work under minimal supervision and make decisions independently.
Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
Communicates with others honestly, respectfully, and professionally.
Position would be Monday-Friday 8-5
