Job Description
Looking for Bulk Cheese Handlers in a manufacturing setting in Cuba, NY.
Monday through Friday 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm with some Saturdays.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and clean area, equipment, and personal sanitation.
De-box/unwrap cheese from original packaging.
Weigh cheese when applicable and calculate using basic math for orders and shred blends.
Manual Measurement and countdown of cheese needed for customer and order specs.
Inspect/clean cheese.
Maintain accurate production records.
Keep line stocked with product to assure no down time.
Operate cutters and lifting equipment.
Load cheese into machines / onto equipment for further processing.
Pack and seal trim.
Bale and empty cardboard from Baler.
Productive use of down time.
Review order specifications to perform quality checks against customer orders.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift.
40 or more hours per week.
