POSITION SUMMARY: The Maintenance Supervisor will support housing communities in Bradford PA. You will be required to direct the work of the Maintenance Technicians and ensure compliance with policies and procedures, HUD requirements, OSHA regulations, codes, and federal, state, and local laws. Check and distribute work orders and verify technicians are punched in. Work with technicians to complete all tasks. Perform a wide variety of general maintenance tasks, such as mowing grass, shoveling snow, painting and cleaning residences in preparation for new residents, repairing hot water tanks and heating systems, etc. Monitor, schedule, and perform preventive maintenance. Schedule biannual inspections to maintain all properties in compliance with agency and HUD guidelines. Respond to after-hours maintenance needs, and ensure related paperwork is completed. Quickly turnover properties to minimize vacancies, and make emergency repairs within 24 hours. Ensure work orders are completed for vacant units, emergencies, and outstanding repairs. Prioritize works orders to meet MCRHA and tenant needs.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• High school graduate and four (4) years of appropriate, progressively responsible experience in maintenance or an equivalent combination of experience and education. Basic carpentry skills. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of general electrical and plumbing repair and building maintenance. Specific training may be provided by MCRHA.
• EPA Certified/HVAC certification preferred.
