Job Description
Seeking Welders for a Wellsville, NY- based business.
1st and 2nd shifts available
These are Direct Placement positions.
Some Job duties:
- Lays out and prepares materials for effective welds with minimal waste or rework
- Reads and assesses the variable of a weld process / procedure including weld symbols, joint designs / configurations to ensure weld quality
- Identifies, selects, and sets up equipment to adjust current, voltage, and gas flow to meet the requirements of a weld procedure
- Assembles components and progresses through the weldment based on the drawings
- Successfully grind and blend welds to meet the quality requirements
- Properly mark the work pieces with traceability information (weld stamp, part number, lot number, and similar items)
Job requirements:
- 5 years of Arc Welding with at least 2 years of Flux Cored and GMAW pulsed-spray experience
- Proficient in all weld positions (1-4F and 1-4G)
- Ability to read blueprints and knowledgeable in US and European + ISO weld symbols preferred
- Understands WPS’s and weld map criticality
- Experienced in work environments that require NDT weld inspection processes (VT, MT, and UT)
- 2-year degree in welding desired but not required
- Exposure to CWI desired but not required
$23 to $27/hr.
