This is a set of building blocks released to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Taro Gomi's picture book, "Where's the Fish?".
One block has been taken out and put back in a few times and displayed as an object, but it hasn't been played with as a building block by a small child, so I don't think there are any noticeable stains.
It's also very cute to use the goldfish's mouth to hold a memo, using it as a memo stand.
