Job Description
The Housekeeper performs a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition.
Major Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning & Maintenance
- Dust, scrub, wet and dry mop, wax, and buff floors using appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Operate Environmental Services equipment including automatic floor scrubbers, buffers, high-speed burnishers, carpet extractors, and vacuum cleaners.
- Clean and wash walls, windows, furniture, fixtures, bathrooms, and restrooms following aseptic techniques.
- Empty and clean wastebaskets; replace liners as needed.
- Replenish supplies in assigned areas.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands:
- Stands, walks, and bends most of the day.
- Lifts and carries equipment and supplies of various weights in accordance with OSHA safety guidelines.
M-F with every other weekend – Day shift
$16.50/hr.
