How we started

In business for 30 years

In March, 1992, Voni began her journey as a businesswoman and started Walker Business and Staffing Services, Inc.  With one computer, two clients and two employees she envisioned something much bigger.  At the end of that first year she had 15 employees.  Fast forward 29 years at the end of 2021, there were over 600 employees and over $5.5 million in sales.

Meet Voni Walker

Founder of Walker Services

Voni moved to New York from Boulder, Colorado with many years of Human Resource experience recruiting employees for large manufacturing companies and as an HR Generalist.  She is very familiar and up to date with all laws that govern the temporary staffing industry.  In 2016, she purchased MM Temps in Bradford, PA and In 2017 she purchased Staffing Plus with offices in Olean, NY and Bradford, PA.  Walker Business and Staffing now operates three offices; Wellsville, NY, Olean, NY and Bradford, PA.
