Job Description
Seeking an interim HR Coordinator for a Bradford, PA-based manufacturing facility with the opportunity for permanent placement for the right candidate. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Pay based on experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees company recruitment effort, new hiring process as well as employee personnel files.
- Reviews annually and makes recommendations for changes to the Employee Handbook & Safety Committee Handbook.
- Oversees Employment evaluation, discipline, and termination actions under the direction of the CFO. All requirements associated with separation of employment, i.e. exit interviews, unemployment compensation.
- Works with the controller to oversee employee benefits, including company-sponsored health insurance renewals and oversight, as well as other company-sponsored benefits.
- Verification of employment to outside entities.
- Manager’s training with regards to best practice HR matters.
- Develop and oversee employee training, in collaboration with departmental managers.
- Seeks funding opportunities for employee training.
- Facilitate Safety Committee and Reporting

- Notary Responsibilities
- Maintain Company Retirement Plan- Compliance Reporting, Enrollments & Terminations

- Proficient verbal and writing skills

- Proficient with software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe application packages
- Ability to adapt and handle multiple projects and priorities

Credentials & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree: Computer Science or equivalent in Business Management and/or Marketing, as well as prior experience in Human Resource Management.
- Equivalent work experience is taken into consideration instead of a 4-year degree.
- Continuing self-improvement courses, internal training or seminars may be required at management’s discretion.
- Responsible for area safety and cleanliness.
