Job Description

We are seeking a temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk for a Bradford, PA manufacturing facility. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. The estimated job length is 1 month.

Job Responsibilities:

• Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Collections: Follow up on overdue accounts via phone, email, or written communication to secure payment.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries regarding billing, payment terms, and account status.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation including sales tax
exemption certificates by customer by state.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and finance, to resolve billing issues.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a related field is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel) and strong attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organization: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.
